Every Nintendo game has a "This game is not allowed to be archived" warning in the manual. That being said, Nintendo isn't going to bust down your door because you made an illegal copy of mother 3. That would be overkill. If you had a lot (10,000+) of roms then Nintendo would be more likely to come after you, but still unlikely. Try these things; Read a book, think about how you can make the world a better place, learn a new language (not nessaraly Japanese), Write a letter, find the meaning of our existance, Play animal crossing, Play a Pen and Paper RPG, try a new phislophical view, find a new Anime, Read every post on a large fourm, Do a speedrun for your favorite game speeddemosarchive.com If that is not enough, try this also, make a list of things you want to do before you die, then try to get some items on that list done. Also, ask yourself this: If you were to die right now, what would you regret not doing? I know what I would regret, and it's not being unable to play Mother 3/Earthbound 2 in english. :) Then try and acomplish that thing if it isn't illegal. If it's illegal, then it's your mess when you do it. Don't come crying to me about going to jail.
